The November 3-4 discussion is an opportunity for participants to learn more about Core’s vision, mission, and values, give input to help shape the new organization, explore what a library professional organization might offer in the COVID age and beyond, explore how your professional interests intersect with the six Core sections, explore how you’d like to participate in this new library organization.
Feedback from this e-Forum will be shared with the Core Board.
In the November 10-11 discussion, participants will learn each others experiences with ILS Migration, pitfalls with a migration and potential solutions or suggestions to avoid issues, tips for creating processes during migration, share ideas about information to gather or cleanup prior to the start of migration, define staff roles for the migration process, discuss tasks/duties provided by staff that can be put on hold, and create a plan on how to continue providing library services.
Each day, discussion begins and ends at:
Pacific: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Mountain: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Central: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Eastern: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
