Core Publishing has released the digital version of the newest edition in the Sudden Selector’s Guide series, the Sudden Selector’s Guide to Anthropology Resources. It provides a comprehensive overview of the essential resources for developing and maintaining anthropology collections in libraries of all sizes.
This latest Core eEdition is an ideal resource for both new and experienced selectors in the diverse field of anthropology. It is meant to aid library workers in collection development by serving as both a bibliography of materials and a thorough introduction to anthropology librarianship. The e-book covers a wide range of topics including anthropology’s many subfields, methodologies, and material types.
The guide is written by Miriam Rigby, a social sciences librarian and collection manager, and John Russell, a digital humanities librarian and assistant professor. They have carefully selected the resources included in the guide to enable librarians to build strong collections that support anthropology research and teaching across interest areas.
