- The 2024 Core Forum Early Bird Registration Deadline is Friday, October 18. Hurry before the price goes up!
- Last week for nominations! The Nominating Committee of Core is looking for our next set of leaders for the board and section leadership. Please nominate yourself or someone you know for president-elect, director-at-large, ALA Division Councilor, or Metadata and Collections Section Leadership Team. Nominations are due by October 18, 2024 using the 2025 Core Nomination Form. If placed on the ballot, your biographical information for the ballot will be due in early December.
- The ALA International Relations Committee is requesting nominations from Core to serve as ALA representatives to IFLA section standing committees for the 2025-2028 term. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 18.
- The Library Facility Master Plan Webinar Series has been postponed to Wednesdays, January 15 – February 5, 2025.
