Member Opportunities & Announcements
- The deadline for Core ballot nominations has been extended to October 30, 2024. The Nominating Committee of Core is looking for our next set of leaders for the board and section leadership. Please nominate yourself or someone you know for president-elect, director-at-large, ALA Division Councilor, or Metadata and Collections Section Leadership Team. Submit nominations using the 2025 Core Nomination Form. If placed on the ballot, your biographical information for the ballot will be due in early December.
- The Core Buildings and Operations Section’s Security and Safety Committee has put together a survey on existing security practices to inform future programming on library security. Please fill out the survey at your earliest convenience.
