- 4-Part Library Facility Master Planning Series (Part Two): Having a Seat at the Table: Representation and Participation in the Library Facility Master Planning Process webinar will be held on Wednesday, January 22 from 1:00pm – 2:15pm CT
- New Core Leaders Monthly Meeting (Core Section Leaders, Committee Chairs, Board Members and Core Staff) will be held on Tuesday, January 21 from 2:00pm – 3:00pm CT. Registration is required. Note: This is replacing the previously scheduled monthly Section Leaders meetings and the Division Chairs meetings.
- Library, Interiors, Furnishings, and Equipment Committee (LIFE) will meet on Wednesday, January 22 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm CT
- Project Management Interest Group Webinar will be held on Friday, January 24 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm CT. Three Core members will be presenting on different aspects of project management in libraries: using MS Project as a tool for project management, how a small team with big goals managed a digitization project, and how one library managed a serious budget cut to their materials budget.

- The Core Forum 2025 Call for Proposals is now open! Submit your program proposal by Sunday, March 2.
- Core is now accepting applications for the Online Course Scholarship for Library Professionals from Developing Countries to participate in our online Fundamentals courses held between February 24, 2025, and August 7, 2025. The application deadline is Sunday, February 16.
